A weekly serialization of Michele Carlo’s memoir about growing up as a redheaded Puerto Rican in an Italian/Irish neighborhood in 1970s NYC. We’ll be reading a chapter or two from the book each week, along with a little music and commentary about the week’s specific timeframe in NYC, and include occasional guest interviews with people of (my) interest who lived here during those times.
